Incline Dumbbell Bench Press

  1. Position bench to 35-45 degree incline (1-2 clicks up if bench is laying flat)
  2. Rest dumbbells on your knees while seated and kick them up towards yourself to get into starting position.
  3. Slightly arch your lower back and lower the weight to roughly to the depth of your chest and press up
  4. The weight should be at about nipple height

 

Tips:

  • Keep your elbows slightly inwards towards your body. The further your elbows flair out, the more stress that is put on your shoulders
  • Keep your butt and shoulder blades against the bench throughout the movement
